Hullabaloo is a book store in Boone, NC, associated with Huzzah Books, a pre-established book store. Hullabaloo needed a visual identity, including a logo, color and typography pallet, catalog designs, and book cover designs for books they print themselves.

The client wanted their book covers to have a very distinct and uniform identity, and they were wanted to create visual interest without the use of photography. We create a system for Hullabaloo where there is a different spine design for each book genre, featuring an abstract texture; so when looking at the books on the shelf you can tell the different genres while still maintaining a strong visual identity.
